FORAC By-Laws

FOREWORD:

  • FORAC is a social club in United Arab Emirates that has its main mission to unite all individuals interested in Outdoors and/or Off Road activities
  • FORAC members and officers shares the same advocacy
    • to help in any form those Filipino’s here in UAE and back in the Philippines.
    • to perform public service in UAE and participate in any UAE Expatriates community activities.
  • FORAC is a non-profit social club in the UAE and duly registered to Emirates Motor Sports Federation (EMSF)
  • EMSF is a non-profit UAE Government Department and its aims to ensure a high degree of safety and professionalism to prevail in such events. The Federation controls all form of competitive and non-competitive motor sport events in the UAE.

All committee members should be appointed by the President having a common understanding between all the appointed and/or elected FORAC Officers.

Interested applicants or those endorsed by a FORAC member shall secure application forms from the Membership Secretary of FORAC .

All accomplished applications shall be filed with the respective Vice-Chairman of FORAC.

The Vice-Chairman and the Membership Committee shall initially screen and pre-approve the application.

During formal meetings of FORAC, all filed applications for the Month may be submitted to the President for approval. Approval shall be made by voting by the concerned Membership Committee. Provided if there is a 2/3 vote by the Membership Committee, FORAC President may approve the application or submit the same for the entire Club Officers for approval or otherwise.

Provided finally that the FORAC President shall approve any application that was unanimously voted/approved by the concerned Membership Committee.

A member is expected to act in such a way that achieves the objectives of FORAC and avoids any harm that may be incurred by it. Refrain from agitating disputes or aggressive behaviors which are detrimental to the interests of FORAC.

All members in good standing shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges available or granted by FORAC. These include among others; The right to participate in any of the programs and projects of FORAC.

The rights of the delinquent members shall be determined by the Membership Committee, if practicable. Otherwise, the same shall be determined by the concerned FORAC Officer subject to the Membership Committee’s ratification.

Applicants may, with the approval of the President, be allowed to participate in activities and projects of FORAC. This is without prejudice however to any responsibilities that may be assigned to them during their probationary period. It shall be the obligation of all FORAC members to abide by the rules of FORAC, support its programs and ideals and promote camaraderie among fellow members.

Dues collected benefits FORAC to move forward on its activities in achieving its mission and objectives.
